It’s perfect for small groups
Our home is designed with two ‘Master Suites’ to provide a luxury experience for two couples or a family. (If you really wanted to, 2 to 4 kids could sleep on the couches and have their own full bath.) It is an ideal meeting place for a family get together or a corporate retreat. Our home allows each party to have their own private sleeping quarters as well as the ability to gather and socialize in the great central ‘Happy Place’. Is your group a little large for one home? Our manager can help you find other homes as close as next door providing ample luxury accommodations for larger groups or families.
Service
The services available can be as inclusive as you would like. Maid service, personal chef, and a personal concierge can all be at your beck and call while at the same time offering discretion for those times when you don’t want to be disturbed. You can even order a ‘starter’ grocery package so you have all the essentials you need upon your arrival. Call and ask our local provider about the package options.

On the Road to Joya Escondida Driving to the house for the first time: We offer pickup at the Liberia Airport, or simple ‘follow me’ service to lead you the house for the first time. But don’t worry, your GPS will work fine and lead you to Joya Escondida. The choice is yours.
- The roads are paved the first half of your 2.5 hour drive, but can be rough on the second half -especially during the rainy season- so you will want a 4×4 rental car and we confidently recommend VAMOS Rental Cars, a locally owned Costa Rican national rental car company. In fact all the roads around our Hidden Jewel are dirt and maintained by the local municipality. You will even find yourself driving through a couple of the local creeks on the short drive to Nosara or the beaches at Playa Guiones.

Guarded Community
Costa Rica is a safe destination for travelers, and Nosara and our Black Beauty community are not exceptions. The area not only offers spectacular beaches, surfing, yoga and healing retreats, and some of the country’s finest health food restaurants and cafés. Locals are friendly and welcoming to visitors. But we don’t stop there. Joya Escondida is a guarded community. Don’t worry, the guards will have your name and your key and will welcome you into the community.
